January 14  This evening's live jazz featured the Zvonimir Tot/Kelly Sill Duo. Both guitarist Zvonimir Tot and bassist Kelly Sill had previously played for the society but this was the first time that they have performed together for us. We listened to an evening of very mellow jazz, mostly from the duo's forthcoming 2-CD release. Zvonimir Tot (guitar) and Kelly Sill (bass).

January 7  Tonight's presentation by society president Ian Tiele was "Hittin' On All Six" which took a look at the history of the guitar in jazz from the 1920s to the 1960s. Ian selected the music of twenty guitarists who had a profound influence in jazz during the first 50 years.
