December 7 Tonight's presentation by society president, Ian Tiele was "Variations on a Theme." Ian looked at the different ways that jazz musicians have interpreted certain tunes over the years.
November 30 This evening's presentation by John Moscinski was aptly titled "Swing in the Holidays." John gave us an evening of music (Count Basie Orchestra with guest vocalists), games, fun, and surprises.

November 16 Tonight's presentation by Perry Huntoon was "Woody Herman, the 1950s." Perry continued his occasional series of chronological looks at Woody Herman and his various bands.
November 9 Tonight's presentation by Ian Tiele and Lee Goode was "Fun Jazz." Ian and Lee looked at the lighter side of jazz music.
November 2 This evening's live jazz was brought to us by Jeff Hedberg & C11. This eleven-piece band entertained us with some wonderful jazz mostly based on the arrangements of Marty Paich and Gerry Mulligan, and the vocal stylings of Mel Torme, with leader Jeff Hedberg providing the vocals and occasional trumpet solo..
October 26 Tonight's presentation by Marc Kritzer was "To Jazz or Not to Jazz 10." This fun and entertaining evening gave the audience a chance to listen to some interesting music and deciide if it really is jazz.

October 12 Tonight's presentation by Lee Goode was "The Reed Mastery of Yusef Lateef." Lee looked at the life and career of multi-instrumentalist, Yusef Lateef.
October 5 This evening's live jazz entertainment was brought to us by the Jim Ryan Trio. Jim's trio has become a regular yearly fixture in the Jazz Room. The band tonight was Jim Ryan (piano), Nick Schneider (bass) and Ernie Adams (drums).
September 28 Tonight's presentation by Doug Taylor was "Ghosts of Buddy Bolden – Blowin’ Outta da Big Easy ince 1907." Doug played music by a number of New Orleans cornet and trumpet player that came came after the legendary Buddy Bolden, including Freddie Keppard, Louis Armstrong, Bunk Johnson, Al Hirt and Terrance Blanchard.
September 21 This evening, society president, Ian Tiele's audio visual presentation was "Arranged by Shorty." We listened to some of the wonderful arrangments that trumpeter Shorty Rogers wrote for both his own bands and for others such as Stan Kenton and Woody Herman, as well as a couple of his pop tune and cartoon compositions and arrangements.
